Beachfront Hammock Heaven

It was close to the beach and the reef was just 50m in. Great place for snorkeling and relaxing. It also works very well as a base of activity for nearby attractions.

The pool was green, we could not swim in it. Caretaker told owner it was clean, but it was not safe to swim in, no cleaning had been done. The beach was not accessible due to wall of sargassum, this is seasonal but no effort was made to clear it beachfront. The door would not open upon arrival, had to wait a day to have lock replaced, was moved to an unprepared front house for the night, then moved into original Casita. The Casita roof leaked into the bedroom, soaking our suitcase and leaving water on the floor. Our seating area out front was not clean (bird poop and wet petals), caretaker said he would clean it, but that did not happen. Owner was very responsive, but not on site.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Akumal. Le logement est spacieux et très propre. La vue sur la mer, depuis la terrasse ou le lit, y est absolument magnifique. L'accès à la plage avec transat et à la piscine privée de la résidence était un vrai plus pour nous.

Super ! Prendre en compte qu'avoir une voiture est indispensable.

Ubytování na pláži, plně vybavený apartmán s výhledem na moře z balkónu nebo přímo z postele při ranním probuzení. Ranní procházka po pláži, romantika. Protože byl listopad byli jsme sami v celém komplexu bytů, nikde nikdo. Velký bazén a lehátka na pláži , osušky součástí vybavení. Určitě doporučuji a ráda se vrátím. Milá majitelka, rychlá komunikace, děkujeme, vše bez problémů.

Větší kontrola pohybu, protože se jedná o soukromý komplex. Pro bezpečnost asi super, jinak trochu omezující. Protože jsme nekuřáci, trochu nám vadil cigaretový kouř z vedlejšího balkonu, který nám šel otevřeným oknem do pokoje,apartmány jsou v těsné blízkosti.

Lage mit Pool direkt am Meer ist perfekt. Kosten-/ Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Der Gastgeberin ist das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste ein persönliches Anliegen.

Peanuts - warme Dusche braucht ein bisschen Geduld.

Perfect location for a relaxing getaway. Communication with the host, Joan, was perfect. She sent detailed instructions to find the house and pickup the key. The casita where we stayed is behind the main house, but is a perfect 2 bed/2 bath condo, just steps away from the beach. Condo has all the amenities you will need, full size kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and living room. WiFi is strong throughout. She has a swimming pool that is available for use and the beach setup is perfect for swimming and relaxing. There's a nice beach bar/restaurant barely a minute walk away.

Very nice location right on the beach; our suite overlooked the beach and it was beautiful. It's near turtle sanctuary and there are many turtle nests so you have a chance of seeing baby turtles at night in the season (I didn't but it was end of the season)

No hot water!!! Once I booked (non-refundable) I got a message from the owner that it may take 10-15 mins for hot water to come. It didn't. I had the water running for over 20 mins and nothing. Had to take cold showers which was very unpleasant. This is a deal breaker for a beach property and the main reason I am leaving a low score. No coffee machine; cheep polyester bed sheets that didn't feel great. No grocery store within walking distance, bring snacks.

Amazing place with the provate beach just in front of the house. Wonderful sunrise and sunset. Stunning water and just the music of the waves at night… amazing!

Lots of mosquitos (but ok, we are near the jungle!). No places for breakfast in the morning.
