Great Apartment at the beach

A little outside from town, but for relaxing at the beach it's the best place :)

The location is lovely and right on the beach. Away from the main strip, so be aware you’ll have to eat at one of the few places along the beach or drive back to town and likely pay for parking. It is nice and quiet. We didn’t get to stay long enough to take advantage of the pool but I’m sure that would’ve been really nice. The beach eats right next door we’re solid (we had the ceviche). I would suggest getting groceries for this place so you don’t have to drive to get a meal.

The accommodations are smaller than expected. It was fine for the three of us, but I felt it wasn’t very good value for money for how dated they were. There were things that wouldn’t bother me for cheaper accommodation that did because of the high price (eg, rusting sink, poor water pressure, holes in towels). The electronic lock on condo door had trouble and the back up key wasn’t available. The host was available via WhatsApp but it wasn’t a super smooth check in after a long day of travel.

Everything was amazing

Beachfront. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Clean.

Adjacent to a low-end Hilton family hotel with a lot of over-served, drunk patrons and noisy kids. Beach not well-maintained. Sargassum algae not cleared. Lots of garbage, plastic forks sticking out of sand - myself any many other passers-by were compelled to clean the beach. Guests from the hotel and other private condos were just disgusting people who let their drunk teens roam late at night, leaving food plates and plastic cups that no staff ever came to pick up. Loud music from a live band at the hotel started blasting at 10PM - could not rest to the sound of the ocean. My unit was double-booked and a disappointed family of 4 started opening my locked door a day before my check-out date. The unit would be charming if it weren’t located here! Communication with owner and her housekeeper was fine.

If you book the actual Hammock heaven it is exactly that. I booked the smaller studio and was disappointed that it didn’t have the view. Basically the photos for this apartment are for 3 apartments all mixed up. Luckily the owner was able to change the apartment for me otherwise I wouldn’t have stayed. The apartment I stayed in was wonderful. The view and hammock were just the best. Having the little kitchen to make drinks was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. I absolutely loved it.

This is a very noisy resort. There were people on the beach making a lot of noise until the early hours of the morning.

The most beautiful beach I've been to so far. Dreamlike environment, wonderful sea, corals, raccoons, huge butterflies, real jungle environment, everything perfect. Very nice host, the apartment is comfortable, spacious, the bed is huge and comfortable. The sea is fantastic from the terrace. For everyone I recommend this place!

Beautiful view, colorful home, access to beach and pool, responsive host.

It’s understandable in this area but there were a number of ants, which somewhat detracted from our (very short) stay. The owner provides spray and gives a lot of tips to help tenants avoid bug problems, like keeping all food in the fridge.
