MARIANO APARTMENT Palermo

The apartment was as advertised. The room was bigger than expected, with a comfy bed and an associated bathroom with a shower. The location, while not central, is around 10-12mins from city center by walking.

Everything very good. Localization perfect. Apartament spacious and very stylish apartment, huge kitchen. I'm impressed. Very helpful owner who helped find a car that had been towed by the police.

Nothing come to me.

The apartment itself is beautiful, just as shown in the pictures: dark wooden floors,high ceilings,spaceous and elegant. Kitchen and living room is shared for 3 rooms,but it was always empty so we used it and actually cooked dinner. Kitchen is clean and equipped with basic dishes. You also get free coffe. This is not my first time staying in Palermo and for next time,I will book this apartment again. It is worth the price.

I would suggest the owner to put a mop in the bathroom,because the floors get wet from the bathtub. Wifi was working only in common areas,not in the room.

Very good location, close enough to the old city, the street is very quiet and the bedrooms even more so, on the back side of the building. We enjoyed the spaces the apartment offers, in shared rooms and bedroom. It makes it very easy to share and not bear. The pictures are very true to what your get. Comfortable, clean , well equipped (A/C, kitchen appliances, book, TV, maps and brochures etc.). The owner is very reactive to questions and requests. Recommendation : use Buses (101, 102 etc.) on nearby Via Roma to move around and especially to/from Train Station 'Centrale'. (stop Roma Poste or Roma Belmonte). Trains will take you easily and comfortably to airport and so many places along the coast (e.g; Termini , Cefalu and further)

We would have loved ice cubes (trays) on the fridge :)

Good location, nice kitchen, great host

The bed was horrible, the boards under the mattress fell off multiple times very uncomfortable and we told host once and he had fixed it but every time some sat down it happened again also I don’t think anyone cleaned under the bed in ages…

Very good value for a triple room. Lovely high ceilings. Walking distance to centre and felt very safe.

There was a smell of gas when entering the main building from the street. We were assured that technicians had been out and that this was not an issue. There was no such smell in bedroom or any other room in the apartment itself. For me, WiFi only worked in common rooms areas of living room and kitchen. Not an issue but good to know. Might be worth enquiring about possibly having to pay a late check-in fee if arriving after 23:00.
