Whitecap Mountains Resort

I love staying here. The shower in 210 is interesting to navigate the first time you stay in the room, but on the second stay in that room, I got a system figured out. The property is cool as hell the pool is awesome and the hot tub is awesome, I was told they are working on fixing the jets, but the water is hot and amazing!

We stayed one night, very friendly staff, the food was really good at the restaurant too. Weber lake is just a walk away. We could see it from our motel room window. The staff was friendly and helpful

Comfortable bed and great location. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Off the beaten path. Friendly staff. Great theme for skiing. Wish they had bigger showers.

Charged an extra 25.00 "resort" fee. Restaurant not open until Thursday, so we had to go eat and buy essentials in Ironwood. Room was dark, instead of being well lit. No dressers for clothing, and only one chair in the room. Very disappointing, would not stay or recommend to anyone we know.

Nice property, fun to explore a little bit. We also enjoyed our dinner there.

Very clean and updated. Great bathtub. Limited furnishings. One lamp. Floor was uneven but rug-covered so ok. Tiny sink without anyplace to put toiletries. Adequate and fairly comfortable but nothing fancy or exquisite

We we in the area for the first time and stumbled across Whitecap Mountain. Such a fun option! Out-of-season, so not much happening. But, the staff was great and the room was terrific! We hope to be back in the Fall!

Nice place to stay in Upson. Near Lake Superior but out of the city. We were able to travel to many beaches and waterfalls. the resort is not as busy in the summer so the restaurant and lounge were closed three of our nights there which was unfortunate since there were not many other options close for dining. The early morning front desk employee I did not get his name but he was pleasant and helpful with all our needs and Danali in the restaurant/ lounge was very helpful and fun to get to chat with. We would stay here again if we are in the area. The only other suggestion to the hotel would to be to have fans on hand we stayed in a room with multi levels and the upstairs had no air conditioning. It made for a stuffy long night a few of the days when the weather was a little warmer with no winds.

We loved our stay at Whitecap Mountain Resort. Area was beautiful. Staff were wonderful. We had a great time! Only negative was the tiny shower. But it did the job. :)
