Whitecap Mountains Resort

I liked having the restaurant and bar onsite. The bar/restaurant staff was awesome. Very accommodating since we were not able to leave our pets in our room to go to dinner.

That you had to pay $50 for each pet just to stay. And non refundable. I get it as a deposit in case they have an accident or if they ruined something. Our dogs were perfectly behaved. We were glad that we could stay with them. $50 per pet is extremely steep.

We thought we would try this place out but for a weekend but most likely not return. The pool and hot tub tiles and area around looked pretty nasty, food at the restaurant was overpriced (paid $24 for 5 scrambled eggs, no kids menu and subpar food), room had lots of minor inconveniences (both tubs wouldn't close to take baths, fridge handle kept falling off, very outdated) but staff was super friendly.

My husband and I had a weekend getaway to Whitecap. Although the room was "dated" it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed the restaurant/bar. The hot tub was also a highlight of our trip.
