The staff at Bonfire Hostel were very friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean, spacious, and met all my needs. The rooftop terrace was also great for meditation, yoga, relaxing or reading.

Worst Hostel Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs! If you’re planning to stay at Bonfire Hostel in Rishikesh, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This was hands down one of the worst hostel experiences I’ve ever had. Let’s start with the bathrooms – absolutely filthy, poorly maintained, and always either out of water or barely functioning. No cleanliness standards whatsoever. It felt more like a neglected public toilet than a place that charges guests for a “stay.” The staff were shockingly unprofessional. Not only were they rude and unhelpful, but they also seemed more interested in hanging out with each other than attending to guests’ issues. When I raised concerns, they either brushed them off or gave sarcastic responses. We booked a room for three, but guess what? The “third bed” was not even a proper bed – just a thin, uncomfortable low-quality mattress dumped on the floor. When we questioned it, the staff acted like we should be grateful it was even there. Absolutely ridiculous. As for the actual beds, they were a joke. Huge gaps between the mattresses meant you’d be rolling into a crack all night – not a restful sleep by any means. And the lift? The staff literally said “It works on kismat (luck)” – yes, those were their words. So you can imagine how reliable it was. Most of the time, it just didn’t work, leaving us to drag our luggage up the stairs. Overall, this place feels like it’s running on zero effort and zero hospitality. If you value your money, sleep, hygiene, and basic respect – skip Bonfire Hostel. There are far better options in Rishikesh.

Good staff, good behavior, and mostly owner best hai. Bhut cool banda hai. Jitna bhi chij apko bola gya hai sab provide kiya gya. Aur rishikesh m first time visit hai to vaha jaa k ap unki help k through aap explore aur enjoy kr skte hai.

I booked this hostel only on the recommendation by my 4 friends who recently stayed there for WFH . I also decided to come & i was liking it so much & decided to extend for next 15 days when owner gave me a pretty good discount . So i had a good WFH experience with Bonfire Hostels . I was staying in a DORM and what makes it more noticeable is pretty big size beds with privacy of curtains , lights & fan on each individual bed and the room was pretty cool & chilled because the ac was working well with a power backup facility & a lift service of 24*7. Best noticeable facilities to choose this property : • Everyday rooftop yoga facility • ⁠Common activities room full of fun & games • ⁠Such an eye appealing views • ⁠Blast & chill party vibes on Saturday sunday at roof top • ⁠Full of secure & safety environment • ⁠Well mannered & behaved staff • ⁠Owners makes everyone feel like home away from home . This hostel is a big yes for pleasent stay ✌🏻

I Choosed Bonfire hostel for me & my friend and booked a Dormitory to take a relax and choosed to do my work from home with peace & calm . The best part about this hostel is its very neat , clean , safe & secure & then all because of this we decided to extend our stay to do our WFH for more 10 days and we had a computer , printer facility with a high speed Wifi which helped us with our work. We had a hot & cold water refilling facilities and the best part about the location of the hostel is Main Balaknath Road is just 50 mtrs away where all the street food & fancy cafes are available along with lot of shops to procure all the daily essentials. For all the guest available in the property Owner attended them so nicely with active attending of 24*7 . When we decided to extend we were worring about our meals because no one can’t eat outside food everyday but owner was kind enough to allow hostel kitchen and it was basically a sharing kitchen for everyone. The property has a beautiful rooftop that makes our work more interesting & they also have a scootey rental availability as well a pick drop which makes our stay more easy and in our dorm room all the beds have their seperate charging point . So if you are a female traveller who is scared of security then this hostel is highly recommended beacuse of main door opening closing time . And if you are willing to come & stay at bonfire & want to extend . Owner gives a huge bulky discount as they gave to us . This property is a thumbs up
