Villa Porpora

Very run down, dirty hotel.

The rooms are amazing, air conditioned, big comfy bed. The bathroom is clean, attached to the room. We had a balcony too. There is a pool and lounge chairs too. We had breakfast in the price, but it was served in the main hotel - a 12 minute walk away

It's right nex to the train tracks, so every 20-30 minutes you can hear a train go by. It's kinda loud, but not really disturbing.

Villa was very nice and clean, balcony in room, swimming pool, solarium and kitchen facilities.

Check in at hotel then crossing some busy roads, 7 min walk to villa. Villa is another 10 min walk to Pompeii ruins, fine for us (late 30's) but wouldn't have taken my elderly mum for example (unless you have a car).

The service, location ..

Clean,private parking,very nice location, less than 10 min walk to Pompeii. If you are coming with car this is very good place because you car is not on the street.

Cleanliness of kitchen and maintenance

We loved the location and convenience. Also Marco on the desk in the afternoon was extremely helpful

We enjoyed our stay. However we were booked for Villa PORPORA and they changed our reservation to their newer facility at Hotel Il Tesoro. This had recently opened the week before and although well constructed there were several things not quite ready. No laundry detergent sachets even though a washing machine was provided. No bin, no room telephone. Shower was cold in the mornings and didn’t drain very well. Also no towel rack or hooks or drying rack to dry laundry. It will be lovely place when completely ready.
