Treetops ella

Very nice location. A tuk tuk drive is needed for going to city but all others are walkable. Best breakfast with all what you want.

Kindness, views, nature, home cooking.

The room was very nice and clean, equipped with everything we needed. The staff were incredibly kind to us; they welcomed us with a hot tea and also prepared a delicious breakfast.

The home is surrounded by nature, making it beautiful, but you should also be aware that there are many animals around, especially when it rains.

The hosts were brilliant, really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and helped with arranging tuk tuks for good prices. Breakfast was also great.

A little bit further out of town but nothing a quick tuk tuk couldn’t fix!

Beautiful accommodation. The terrace and adjoining garden are beautiful. The view is amazing. Delicious breakfast that is served as nicely as seen in the pictures. They have 2 yoga mats and there is enough space in the garden to relax and stretch.

It's a bit down the road and a car can hardly pass down to the property, however the owners offer to transport you and the stuff up to the main road. It is walkable and lasts 5minutes at most and they offer a flashlight as well. Wifi is spotty, but i think it is common for the Ella area.

The hosts are absolutely lovely, going above and beyond in order to making your stay enjoyable. This included preparing sandwiches for us at 3:30am (!) because we had to leave very early for a safari at Yala. The Sri Lankan breakfast was extraordinary😊

The hosts were wonderful, so warm and responsive and always looked out for me which was nice when I was travelling solo. The room is the only one there and totally private. You step onto the terrace and the views of the hills are stunning and at night the private garden is all lit up. Enchanting with a magical vibe and the breakfast excellent value and beautifully presented. Nothing was too much trouble and they put me in touch with a trusted tuk tuk driver. Ella main town was only ,8-10 minutes by tuk tuk. I would definitely stay at Treetops again!!

Amazing hosts, super friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast, different every day made with a lot of love. Directly in front of rain forrest. We could see green parrots all the time. Close to the nine arch bridge and little Adams peak. You can walk directly from there to these 2 places.

Was a bit outside the city. Easy to reach with tuktuk thought (1000 rupies per ride)

As you may know already, Ella is a very touristy place. We didn't book anything in advance, so we were finding it difficult to find some good quality-price location to stay. But then we found Tree Tops. What an amazing place. We were so warmly received and we felt like we were at home. The room is very clean, with a comfortable bed, good bathroom with hot water and a mini fridge. You could notice that every detail in the room was carefully picked. And, of course, as a foodie, the best part for me was the Sri Lankan breakfast - different in the two days, but both with typical Sri Lankan food, prepared with love and care. At night, you can hear an animal orchestra from the room, so you really feel connected to nature. If you are overwhelmed with all the options in Ella and want a place to relax and feel at home, just a tuktuk drive away from all the activities, just go there. Thank you so much for receiving us like this, we will never forget these 2 days here.

I stayed in this little oasis for 2 nights and absolutely enjoyed my time here. It‘s a bit outside of busy Ella which I personally liked a lot. The accommodation is in a small village and the room is surrounded by plants and trees. It is a very cozy atmosphere here. I had a warm and kind welcome from the hosts, they made my stay a very pleasant one. The room was clean and was decorated in a quite nice way. The breakfast on the terrace was very good. In total, I can recommend Treetops Ella and would definitely go here again.
