The room has everything you need plus spectacular view and an amazing host always keen to help with everything the guests may need. Highly recommended!

When I arrived at Treetops, I couldn’t believe the beauty of the place. Go here when you get the chance! The view, the beautiful private patio, the thoughtfully designed garden and apartment… the hosts really care about making you feel at home, and providing you with everything you need! The apartment is super clean and very well equipped: it has a lot of room to hang and store clothes, comes with a mini bar and even little details like mosquito spray, a blow dryer, toiletries, yoga mats. I slept wonderfully here, great bed, fresh air, almost no mosquitos but calming nature sounds. Also the breakfast: Probably one of the best and most beautifully served I’ve had so far! So generous and delicious. The owners are incredibly kind, and helped me with Tuktuks and finding a ride to my next destination. Treetops really is a unique place to relax and find peace. I am thinking to go back to Ella just to spend some more time enjoying Treetops.

Very pleasant and helpful owners. Clean room and excellent breakfast. The position of the property is fantastic overlooking a tea plantation. Sit on the balcony and watch small parrots fly by with a variety of other birds and wildlife. Highly recommended.

2 wonderful days were among nature, wild peacocks, different birds. All you need is at home. Breakfast was traditional and excellent. We like everything. The staff was very polite and friendly. Thank youq

Beautiful setting down a track in the jungle. Only one room for guests so peaceful and in a way exclusive. Our hostess couldn’t do enough for us, and the room was carefully prepared with lots of nice touches ( mosi spray, torches, Bluetooth speaker, yoga mats ) Delicious breakfasts too.

We didn’t mind the 2 minute Tuk tuk journey back to and from the main road, don’t be put off by this!

Beautiful place nestled in the jungle - amazing listening to the sounds of nature at night. The hosts had thought of lots of handy little extras that made our stay more comfortable. Books, games, mini bar, ear buds and nail clippers, hammock :) They were really freindly and it was a privilege to stay with them. The breakfast was absolutely massive and delicious. We did feel bad that we couldn't eat it all when it had all been homemade.

The place was down a steep track and well out of Ella. This was nice on one hand as peaceful and tranquill but too far ro walk so you did need tuktuk. We hired scooters and that made it perfect.

We loved our stay at Treetops it's in an amazing setting in the jungle which is very tranquil away from the busiest of Ella town! It's only a ten minute drive away though we had our own tuk tuk dropped off there which made it easier or the hosts can arrange a tuk tuk for you. You are the only guests and you get a large terrace area with garden looking out onto the best view! The breakfast is so good it's the best we have had in Sri Lanka very traditional and you get a good choice! The hosts are lovely and accommodating making you feel very welcome☺️ The room is a good size, with added touches- fridge with a mini bar which was very reasonable, books and games. The bed is very comfy and the fan was fine we didn't miss air con but it's cooler in the night in Ella so just having a fan is all you need.

We loved our stay at TreeTops! The hosts were amazing helping us with any questions, bringing us extra coffee and biscuits, and always with a smile. We had an issue with our train so had to leave very early and they even gave us a breakfast to go which was so thoughtful!! The breakfast was amazing with beautiful views!

The property was has a real sense of calm, beautiful birds and chipmunks, surrounded by trees. It’s clean and a good size, with everything you might need, yoga mats, water and wine. Tea and coffee also provided, with a few books to read.

There’s nothing it to like really, with the rainy season brings leeches and it’s about a 45 minute walk into Ella, which in parts is quite dark. My husband and I love a walk, so wasn’t a problem for us. But tuk tuks, can be arrange for about 700 rupees.

Beautiful secluded little jungle home! You’re far away from the busyness of Ella town, yet close enough to go there to explore. We felt so relaxed after our stay at Treetops, such a nice vibe, beautiful people as hosts and an amazing fresh Sri Lankan breakfast!

Nothing we didn’t like! It had everything we needed for a nice time 🧡
