Beautiful place in nature, the hosts are so nice, breakfast is amazing, the room is very clean and accommodated with fridge, books and board games, everything perfect!

Hosts were really lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Location was a bit out of town, really nice to be away from it and close to little Adam’s peak.

Don’t go if you aren’t ok with insects. It’s beautiful and in the jungle, and that does come with more bugs

The hosts were very warm, welcoming & happy to assist with any questions. The room was super-clean & comfortable. The breakfasts were the best we had the whole trip! Location is close enough to Ella, but far enough away to be surrounded by nature...

There is nothing negative I can think of.

Treetops is a great homestay away from the crowdy village. They offer a great breakfast, both Sri Lankan & Western. And: they have hot water for a shower. :-) Very friendly hosts who help to arrange your local trips. They are a young couple, speaking English fluently.

The last part of the route to the homestay is very offroad. Not all Tuk Tuk drivers were happy to go down the hill. The location is both a pro and a con: very nice, relax view over the hills between birds, monkeys and beautiful nature, but you need a Tuk tuk for each trip.

The service was outstanding! The host arranged everything from tuk tuk rides to early morning drop off to the train station. Bit further from Ella center but for 800-1000 lrk your there.

Lovely kind gentle couple. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Large shower room, electric fan, and nice bed with mos net. Kettle, fridge with drinks I could help myself to plus tea and coffee, pretty outside area to sit, hammock to lie in. Fabulous breakfast surrounded by beautiful trees. Not in central Ella which is fine as Ella is noisy and although quieter it’s still in a local neighbourhood. Easy 1000lkr tuk tuk and I walked there and back via the 9 arches one day. The host very kindly got me to the station early the day I travelled, with a packed breakfast!

Nowhere to hang anything, no cupboard, no drawers, no hooks. Easily rectified I’m sure.
