Treetops ella

I have been travelling for almost a year and I think this is the best place I have stayed so far, no exaggeration. The comfort, beautiful surroundings and amazing hospitality were like nothing I have experienced before! The homestay has amazing natural surroundings, where you can take in the nature, and watch the small animals and birds going about their day. The room itself is comfortable, clean and feels like a proper hotel! There’s even hot water :) I was blown away by the food and care I was given in Treetops, too. The homestay is run by such a warm and welcoming family who gave me some of the best food I have had in Sri Lanka. The complimentary breakfast was just amazing, and the dinners I ordered were some of the best food I have had here. I was also offered complimentary tea/coffee every afternoon, which was so lovely. If I ever had a question or request, they were always available and happy to help. Thank you so, so much for welcoming me into your home! This homestay is a little bit more remote - it’s about an 8 minute tuktuk ride from Ella town, but it’s closer sights like the 9 Arch Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak as a result! I even walked to and from both. I was so happy that I chose to stay here instead of the town, which has little to offer in comparison to this beauty. If this review seems too good to be true, trust me… It’s not!

Very pleasent place with lovely garden around the property. The room is very clean and it feels like it was my own home with the facilities in it. Breakfast was amazing with srilankan traditional treatments. Best place I found in Ella. Thank you very much for the kind hospitalities. Don't miss TREETOPS ELLA in your trip to Ella :)

We ended up extending our stay in Ella 4 times, because we loved this homestay so much. Cleanest and most beautiful room I've ever booked in Asia, and still it's affordable. The family was such a lovely bunch, who invited us to a family party, to experience their traditions, wonderful experience! ,The owner lasa is an employee of cafe chill Restaurant. so the included breakfast was outrageously good and different every morning. I will definitely come back to this place
