Villa Azzurra

A hidden gem along amalfi. Very quiet and good views. Vittorio (the host) was the best we’ve ever had. He gave us information on all the attractions, restaurants and even booked one of our excursions for us. Upon arrival we were ipgraded (free of charge) to one of the more luxurious apartments. 10/5 stars.

Very nice staff, they communicated well with us in advance and really cared for our well-being. Vittorio had bought mineral water for us in advance as we weren't sure if we would find a shop nearby and were traveling on foot. Vittorio also upgraded us to the superior suite because we were the only guests and he was very forthcoming in every respect.

The gas cooking plates were a bit old and no longer functioning so well. But eventually it worked. No problem, but just something to be aware of: there is an additional cleaning fee (70 euros) you need to pay after your stay. It's not included in the price, so just something to bare in mind when you calculate the costs. Vittorio gave us a discount though because we only spent one night at Villa Azzurra.

Beautiful views, pool and room

I stayed in Villa Azzurra with my sister and her 2 daughters and we can share our best emotions and memories. The hosts Vittorio and Sabrina welcomed us in a warm and kind manner and they were very helpful. They gave us great recommendations, for example to dine next door at the restaurant La Macina, in what order is best to visit the towns of the Amalfi coast, and to take a ship tour to Capri island from the nearest port Marina del Cantone (near Nerano), including a bus ride straight from the villa. We stayed 4 nights in a spacious and clean apartment with two bedrooms and a living room. We had no problem with parking, as the property provided parking spaces (which is quite exceptional as many places in the region do not offer parking at all or it is problematic). The Villa Azzurra experience felt luxurious: wide and comfortable beds, a nice pool, property decorated with flowers, and a spectacular view from the balcony, overlooking the sea, mountains and the small town of Nerano with its church bells. We also enjoyed the peaceful and quiet environment and found the place suitable for adults as well as teenagers. Our apartment also has a terrace. It is well located if you want to visit Amalfi coast and also Sorrento and Capri. As mentioned, a high level restaurant is just around the corner (if to come to villa just turn right immediately after restaurant La Mancina, if to come from Naples / Sorrento, it was not difficult to find the place), the nearest shop is also not far. We enjoyed our stay in this great place with these marvellous views and atmosphere, kind hosts and the property with all you need for a real vacation and relaxation and we can really recommend Villa Azzurra for others. P.S. A comment above here from a visitor (from Azerbaijan) does not seem appropriate and adequate, we have best memories and experiences of our stay there.

Everything was perfect and not any negative comments or emotions.

Facilities were clean although some upgrading was underway.Our stay was pleasant and received great support from management.
