Casa Fernanda

All amazing! Couldn’t fault anything, Antonella was so kind and welcoming. She had flowers and Prosecco for us on arrival and decorated the room beautifully for our honeymoon. She gave an extensive list of recommendations from shops, restaurants, bars, activities everything! Anything I asked she replied immediately, it was such an amazing stay thank you so much!

Parking was horrendous

A lovely, spacious & light filled apartment in Monopoli.

The apartment was really nice and loved the location. We used the balcony almost every day to relax, have a glass of wine and watch the world go by. Parking was not difficult but you do need to look around to find a spot. The place was very roomy and it was wonderful so unpack and feel at home.

The staircase to the apartment was steep and anyone with mobility issues would have trouble. The bedroom window faced another unit who left their lights on ....it is out of the owners control but I did affect our sleep a little.

The apartment is fantastic and Antonella our host was so wonderful and helpful in every way possible. She provided many recommendations in addition to helping us with trains and providing some wonderful welcome snacks including a lovely bottle of wine. The apartment is large, bright and spotlessly clean. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you would need for a longer stay including a washing machine. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The location is perfect for the old town and a short walk to the train station. After 3 weeks plus travelling with 8 different locations, Casa Fernanda was our favourite. We highly recommend.

The apartment is large and very well equipped. It has lots of light and air, and the location is perfect. It has a washing machine and a dishwasher; both worked without any problems. The bathroom is in the smallish side, but this is usual for recycled apartments in Italy. Everything was perfectly clean and very well maintained. The hostess responded within minutes to every question. Overall, an excellent experience.

Free parking can be found on the streets around the apartment. Every day except Saturday night, it was fairly easy to find a parking spot nearby. But finding parking was a challenge on Saturday night when many people go downtown for dinner (it took a half hour to find a spot). There is a paid parking lot nearby, but it was also full on Saturday night. The way parking works seems to be like this for downtown Monopoli; during the week of my stay I did not see any parking garages; paid or private....

Antonella was the perfect host. She met us at the property and explained where we were located and gave us ideas for activities. She also gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations.
