Casa Miralago

We enjoyed the view, the quietness and the garden and beach facilities. It was a pleasant walk into town. The helpful, pleasant landlords.

Fluctuating temperature of the shower.

Amazing location, fantastic view from balcony. Perfect to swim in lake and use canoes . We used trains, buses and boats with no need for a car!

We loved staying there only very slight comment is that the bed was a bit creaky! But the black out shutters were amazing

The view is amazing. We stayed at Room 5 and we had a huge balcony. The appartment itself is also huge. We could use the kayak from the facility. The hosts replied to us very quickly for our questions. If we come to this region again, we will definitely stay here again!

We had some difficulty in finding the parking spot, but that was also arranged quickly after some messages with the hosts.

We (Family of 4)stayed in late April for four days and enjoyed our stay Miralago Casa. Apartment was clean and spacious, bedding was really nice, clean and comfortable. Flat had an exceptional view of the lake and mountains from the balcony. Kitchen was quite well equipped. Apartment is located about 15-20 min picturesque walk from Menaggio. Short walk from "James Bond Villa". Had it's own pebble beach with small graden and tables and chairs to enjoy breakfast or evenings. I would recommend it to anyone. Great place to visit Lake Como.

The apartment was spacious and clean with a magnificent view of the lake. We were looking forward to eating outside with this view. The walk to town was 20 minutes and quite scenic in parts.

Management was the rudest we've ever encountered in over 30 years of travelling. Our room was advertised with a balcony but DID NOT have one. Instead it had a terrace on ground level which in itself was NOT a problem. The problem was 2 families with young children who were out of control. These children ran around and across our terrace for hours each afternoon. They were yelling and screaming and then the parents yelled at them from their balconies. They also ran inside above us stomping around the apartment. As a result we couldn't enjoy this beautiful view and sit outside with a meal. After 3 nights with Management doing nothing we asked to leave and get a refund for our final 2 days. On this third night Management eventually decided to go and listen to the noise after 9.30pm. She denied there was a problem as the children had probably gone to bed. She then thought to turn the situation around and call us rude when she wouldn't look into any concern until then. Our request for a refund was denied. Luckily these families left on the fourth day, and the atmosphere outside on these 2 nights was completely different. Couples were eating and drinking at the tables and on the beach enjoying the view. The ambience was beautiful.

It’s localization right in front of the lake

It was ok, we didn’t have any problem, but it was very simple for the price we paid. Old and not comfortable towels for example. It is also a bit far away from the city centre, so it’s mandatory to go with a car.

Great location. The availability of bikes was wonderful and we used them several times to get to town.

Hosts were very helpful and friendly. The view from the balcony was stunning. The apartment was clean. The inside of the apartment was basic but had everything required for a comfortable stay. Walk into the main town area was around 15 mins. Being able to hear the waves in the apartment was very nice and relaxing.

The shower temperature fluctuated and the bathroom layout was not ideal with the toilet really close to the shower cubicle- a small space to try and fit in. You could also hear people in neighbouring appartements.

Small suggestions: Would have liked the kitchen to be stocked with paper towels, coffee filters and a small supply of coffee. Needed more pillows (one very flat pillow was provided per bed). Internet could not be accessed in bedrooms.

Place is few steps away from lake. Amazing view, free kayak and bike Also, owner is very helpful.

Toiletries like shampoo, conditioner is not the best.
