The placement was great and the staff was okay (the only staff we saw was a 15 year old boy

There where no aircondition in the rooms it was a bit shady that there where no adults running the place only a 15 year old boy. The hostel is also located near a big street where there can be a lot of noise.

The location is unbeatable, in a renovated historic building (or maybe mock historic) right across from the three Madrassas. Good beds, smallish room, balcony to a lively, busy plaza. Nice family with one person each for English, French and German, very very helpful and sociable. Watched UFC fighting with their knowledgeable son (English).

Hard to find, Google will place the address approx. 500m away - search for Madrassa Hostel, that's the one. Entrance is up the outside metal stairs to the right of the building. There's only two bathrooms/showers for 8 rooms, they have a stench as the siphon is missing from the only sink. No problem for the rooms, though, stench is in the entrance area only.

Definitely one of the best hostels in Central Asia. Really beautiful place, incredible location, very kind and polite people. There are lots of great historical buildings and complexes, I was literally out of any words, you have to see this. Thank you guys for this wonderful holidays!

The hostel is located in the center of the historical part of the city, directly opposite the wonderful Registan Square. On the second floor there is an art gallery with many magnificent paintings. The working staff is always ready to help you, a very kind administrator. So delicious breakfast consisting of national sweets and pastries. My wife and I were really happy to stay in this beautiful place. I hope we will visit you again in the near future.

Great hostel! The location is great, everything is clean! The toilet is shared in the corridor, but this is a hostel. Most importantly, clean and tidy. Thanks to the staff. very attentive guys.

A bit hard mattresses, but the director said that the temper is different. So respect

Everything was perfect. View on main Ragestan platz. They speak English, Russian. Owner is very, very, very kind and helpful. My highly recommendation.
