- soundproofing: you can hear footsteps from the second floor from ground floor, and conversations next door

This is an exceptional place to spend the night in town. The hosts were friendly and helpful during check-in. You could tell that they take pride in managing the place. And that translates to the clean and safe environment to stay in. The facilities were well kept, tidy and inviting to use. Location is within walking distance to Jonker street, and the walk there allows one to explore the river and other interesting shops and establishments that are outside the main Jonker Street. Parking is available but the street leading to it can be narrow. We had a comfortable night and wished we stayed one more night.

The location was fantastic. Food & night life was just a short walk away. The place was clean.

Host called to inform that he would be available until 5pm for check-in. After which, we could only check in after 8pm. However, host was not in the office when we arrived around 4.45pm. Luckily, the weather was good. We had to wait for about 10 mins for him to turn up.

Located right in the heart of Malacca, this is a huge shophouse perfect for big groups and families. Then property is very private and gated, is quiet even though it's very central and is also within walking distance from so many amazing businesses. Would book it again if I return to Malacca!
