Everything was super ok, big flat with comfortable 🛏️, nice facilities and overall nice experience.

Location is super! The windows of the bedroom and living room look out to a leafy view of a small park and ornate architecture. Large spaces to stretch out with two generous bedrooms, a terrace with a grill, and seating in the kitchen as well as at a dining table under chandeliers. The linens were crisp and the towels fresh. The washing machine was excellent and the heated towel bar and radiators made clothes drying easy. Coffee/pastry shops, take-away hot meals, and a small grocery store are within an easy 1-3 minute walk, within a block. Across Elizabeth Blvd. is a gorgeous 17 hectare park for leisurely walks. The Parliament Bldg. is a 10 min. walk away. The Walking Streets with multiple museums, churches, bars, shops, and excellent restaurants is an easy 15 min. walk from the apartment. There is an elevator, but the apartment is on the first floor, so we always used the pretty spiral staircase.

The beds are Very Firm… some might say Hard as a board! Hopefully the owner will remedy this only real flaw in this pretty place by purchasing new memory foam or latex mattresses. The Tchibo Coffee Machine was inoperable, so other options would be welcome. The kitchen would benefit from a few more pans, a bread knife, and a chef’s knife. The shower nozzle leaks a lot down the supply hose and should also be replaced. These are small things, except for the hard beds, to remedy. I’m sure the owner will fix them!

This property is beautifully positioned on a side street behind the Ministry of Culture, one block from two huge city parks and a small grocery, and a ten minute walk to Bucharest’s Old City Walking District. There are coffee shops and bakeries on the street below for local fast food take-away. The terrace and windows lend views of a small park and intricate stonework on the Ministry Bldg. as well as the State Theatre. The immense Romanian Parliament Bldg. is also only a ten-minute walk away. The two bedrooms were super-clean and spacious, as was the central living area. The bed linens and duvets were crisp cotton and the bath towels soft and absorbent. The radiant heat in all rooms was easily adjustable with a wireless control. The WiFi was fast and secure. The washer was easy to use and clothes dried quickly on the heated towel bar and radiators. The two flat-screen TVs each had many channels, some in English. The kitchen was big enough for two people; it was cute, bright, and also super-clean even if only modestly equipped.

The beds are Very Hard and would benefit with memory foam pads on the spring mattresses. The shower nozzle needs to be replaced, as it leaks profusely down the supply hose. The water heater was easy to adjust, but really hot water never came from the shower, only warm water. The Tschibo coffee-maker was inoperable, there were only two cooking pans, and there were no chef or bread knives.
