Yadoya Sanbou

The wifi doesn't reach the upstairs bedroom so it's difficult for travelers who don't have a data plan. It'd be nice if the host added a wifi extender.

The location was very close to the train station and not too far from the main tourist area in Kyoto. Because it's a residential area, it's very quiet however the rooms do face a busy road and convenience store. To remedy this, there are extra reinforcements in the windows so it wasn't so loud while sleeping. The house itself is extremely beautiful and features a small garden and backyard. There is a lot of natural lighting and space.

There's no insulation in the home so it can get cold but the AC has a heating function and that keeps the house warm. The dryer did not work but there is space to hang clothing on the balcony.

Wonderful host, great facilities. Although it's an apartment,the host came every day to change towels and see if anything is missing. The location is very close to public transportation - easy to get anywhere.

The building is in a very quiet street. Close to a shopping strip with lots of local stores and restaurants and a grocery store. A convenience store is right behind the facility. The space is super clean and well maintained and very spacious. All-wood structure is beautiful and smelled really good. Perfect for a family. We will definitely go back there again when we visit Kyoto.

The house was spacious and there were toilets on each floor which was nice. The parking spot was very convenient since we came by car. Location was good with a shopping alley just a few minutes away by foot. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.
