Villa Segovia Cozumel

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable à la Villa Segovia. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmés par l'accueil chaleureux du personnel. L'établissement est d'une propreté irréprochable et l'endroit est tout simplement merveilleux. Nous nous sommes régalés avec la nourriture proposée. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour avoir rendu nos vacances à Cozumel si spéciales. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel !

The staff is helpful and caring and the location is an easy 1 mile bike/walk to town. Love the large rooms here and the pool. It was my 2nd visit to the property. Such a beautiful older home refurbished into a lovely guest house.

Honestly, similar to the last time staying here, the owner just doesn’t seem to care about serving the guests. When we arrived the TV wasn’t hooked up, a light was out in the bathroom and we had no key for the safe. We were told the TV and light would be fixed in the morning and not to worry about no safe as there were cameras all over the property and all was secure which is actually the truth. However the TV and light were never fixed for the 5 days I was there. The most annoying issue was the 5 barking dogs across the street, early in the morning, late into the night and off and on throughout the night. I want so badly to love this unique and beautiful property but the noise every single day and night from the dogs was and is a reason that I think will keep me from coming back and it makes me sad to give this review.

The pool was nice and the room was clean.

Everything was difficult and no one wanted to take responsibility. It's not a good option with children, lack of cleanliness in the garden and inflexible with breakfast options. It's also not a good option for divers due to a late starting breakfast. They were rude to my babysitter, who was helping to look after my daughter and also rude to my friend who tried speaking Spanish and using Google translate to communicate. They aren't flexible with breakfast options (which start late, at 8am) and its not possible to have boiled eggs. Only fried, omelette, or Mexican eggs. There was dog poo in the garden that no one wanted to clean up because the gardener wasn't there. It's an obvious health hazard caused by another guest at the hotel, and my girl was playing in the garden but this wasn't a concern to them.

No hay recepcionistas ni nadie que te oriente si hay alguna duda, al momento del Check In estaba solo el vigilante.

The property was just like the pictures. The staff was very nice and always tried to help anyway they could. We had a problem with dogs barking right across the street and they moved us to a different room immediately.

Never stay in the room facing the street. There are 5 dogs right across the street that bark constantly!
