Casa Angelino

My friend I stayed at Casa Angelino for 6 nights. It’s in a great location in Ortigia just steps from Pza. Archimede and 3 min. walk to Pza. Duomo. There are restaurants and shops nearby. It had everything we needed, including iron and board, washing machine with dryer, and a kitchenette. This was very useful and we cooked a few meals. It was newly renovated, and clean, with more than ample closet space.

We needed to wash our towels, but that was easy with washer and dryer. The recycling bins are right next door to the property so collection could be noisy.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The host was extremely responsive and helpful, the apartment is new and clean and the location was spectacular! There is a wonderful restaurant right outside the door. It was one of the nicest accommodations of our trip!

The apartment is clean, nicely decorated, and thoughtfully equipped. We appreciated the small touches, such as a beach umbrella and .... Marco was very kind and explained everything in detail upon our arrival, which made us feel welcome.

That said, there were some important issues. Upon entering, there was a noticeable unpleasant smell. Since the same odor came from under the sink, it may be related to dampness and possible mold behind the kitchen cabinets. In our extensive travels renting apartments, we have always found basic items like soap, shampoo, tea, coffee, and kitchen towels provided. Considering the relatively high price of this apartment, it was disappointing that none of these essentials were available, which makes the value for money not fully reasonable. Additionally, the mattress was very worn out, with a visible indentation, making it uncomfortable to rest properly. Overall, the apartment is stylish and well-furnished, but these issues—especially the mattress and missing essentials—lower the overall comfort level.

Casa Angelino is a lovely apartment in the heart of Ortigia. The place is clean, safe, cozy. The host is very kind and helpfull.

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 children) had an absolutely perfect stay at Casa Angelino. The host, Marco, was incredibly responsive and helpful, both before our arrival and throughout our stay. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped — it had air conditioning, a washer and dryer, a TV, and everything we needed to feel at home. The location was ideal for exploring, with restaurants, a mini-market, and major attractions all just a short walk away. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Casa Angelino to anyone visiting the area!

Fantastic location right in the heart of ortigia and great facilities. Everything we wanted was available including a sun umbrella for the beach. Great cooking amenities for those that want to cook, including basics like olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and coffee. Also had a washing machine with dryer function and a spacious bathroom. Aircon was in both bedroom and lounge, and worked really well and was very quiet. Some noise as expected in the evening being in the heart of town with restaurants just outside your door, but it didnt go on for very long. Marco our host was very helpful, and was gracious enough to allow us a late checkout given our late flight.
