Wunderschöner Ort, professionell geführt und mit unglaublich freundlichem Personal, tolles Frühstück und für das was man bekommt ein mehr als faires Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich möchte gerne wiederkommen.

Eigentlich war alles perfekt. Wir hatten ein kleines Problem mit der Fernbedienung für die Klimaanlage, aber sonst war alles mehr als perfekt

Tekanda Lodge was heaven! The setting is incredibly peaceful, with beautiful views in every direction. The staff were wonderful and made our stay effortless. They arranged all of our activities, and we especially loved the tea factory tour, estate tour and morning yoga on the deck. The food was beautifully prepared each day, and the communal dinners were such a lovely way to end the evenings. A special thank you to Richard, Charlie, and Upul for sharing their knowledge and being so welcoming. We would love to come back one day!

Schön abgelegen vom Trubel des Dorfes, kommt man in der Tekanda Lodge zur Ruhe. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück, mit Aussicht ins Grüne, war frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker! Mit ein bisschen Glück konnte man sogar den Affen beim Spielen zuschauen. Uns hat die Balance zwischen surfen und anschliessend in der Tekanda Lodge am Pool entspannen sehr gefallen - wir kommen wieder!

Less than 15mins from the beach, Tekanda Lodge is in a perfect location - nestled amongst the rice paddies and nature. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly relaxed. It is extremely peaceful and a perfect location to unwind and relax. The views too are unreal! Uppal and his team were amazing - couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was 10/10.

Everything about our stay at Tekanda Lodge was beyond perfect. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a dream. The lodge itself is stunning, perched with breathtaking views and surrounded by lush tropical paradise, complete with a beautiful pool that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden oasis. Our bungalow was magical — spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated, with a balcony that opened out to the sounds and sights of the jungle. It struck the perfect balance between comfort and nature, giving us a true sense of escape. The food was fresh, delicious, and always generous, making every meal something to look forward to. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the warmth and hospitality. The staff went above and beyond, and our hosts, Charlie and Richard, were not only incredibly kind but also extremely helpful and their journey incredibly fascinating. The tour of the property was very informative— we learned so much and left with a deeper appreciation for the place and its surroundings. Tekanda Lodge is just the perfect tropical paradise and we can’t stop thinking about our stay there. We can’t recommend it highly enough and cannot wait to return!

El hotel es precioso y está en un entorno increíble. La decoración es preciosa y se respira mucha tranquilidad. La habitación muy amplia y cómoda y el desayuno muy bueno.

Por poner una pega, pedimos dos cappuccinos y nos cobraron un precio desproporcional. Teniendo en cuenta que el alojamiento no es de por sí barato, nos pareció fuera de lugar. Está un poco alejado del centro de Ahangama, necesario contar con vehículo para llegar hasta allí.

Tekanda Lodge was the most idyllic place to spend the last couple of nights of my trip to Sri Lanka - the location is beautiful and peaceful, the staff were incredibly helpful. We did a trip to the nearby tea factory which was fascinating and spent the rest of the time lying by the beautiful pool. We watched fireflies by the pool in the evening. We ate all our meals there and the food was amazing. The owners come to the lodge each day and it was so interesting to learn about the area from them. I don't think I can fault Tekanda Lodge, and will definitely come back if I ever return to Sri Lanka. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
