Garden Resort

Lovely room, pool and helpful staff. Could book trips from reception. Breakfast was great. Loaned us bicycles to ride into the town.

Asked for fresh towels and toilet paper day two, was told yes but none on our return had to ask again at night time. Toilet paper given but no fresh towels.

The swimming pool, although it did have signs of algae on the walls. We enjoyed the breakfast , eggs to order & plenty of fruit, toast, tea & coffee. Great location to watch the balloons take off and floating by in the early morning and late afternoon.

No fridge or TV in room. Had to ask for our room to be cleaned during our 4 day stay, it was only cleaned once. There is a lot of old furniture in the dining area that was unsightly. A lot of rubbish on the grasses area & around internal staircase. Needs a good tidy up

- staff is unhelpful. Overcharged us to hire a driver and booked wrong trains - room was not as per picture (missing items, openings in the bathroom ceiling)

Friendly staff and the manager is very courteous and helpful. big rooms good air conditioning.

The bed was incredibly noisy and creaky when moving. we asked to change rooms after the first sleepless night. The second room bed had the same problem albeit slightly better.

Lovely big, clean room with en suite bathroom, balcony overlooking pool and mountains. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, arranged our train tickets to Vientiane, half day kayaking trip which was great and also hired mopeds from them. All good. Spent 5 nights here and had a lovely chilled time.

It’s quite a walk into town which we knew but there isn’t much about near the hotel. There is a small shop across the road selling beers/soft drinks, snacks, ice creams, pot noodles. It would be a great if the hotel could offer drinks & light lunches throughout the day for those who want to chill by the pool. The pool could do with a good scrub around the edges, but it was a lovely refreshing pool!

New property and still trying to get the kinks worked out but very nice and exactly what I was looking for..
