Catlins area accommodation

Didnt realize how noisy the trucks were as we were on a main road. Otherwise lovely and clean.

Great location. Quiet and comfortable.

Great location and a cool apartment with its own kitchen and lounge. Lovely and clean and great facilities. A well stocked kitchen so we cooked for ourselves twice and made breakfast the whole time we were there. Very comfortable and well appointed.

The TV probably needs to be upgraded at some stage and we had to move the sofa to be able to sit comfortably in front of it. We didn't watch a lot of TV as that wasn't the purpose of the trip but this was something we both commented on. The picture was fine bt the sound quality awful - could be worth getting a sound bar to fix this. Whilst the apartment was super comfortable, the master bed (which was the only one we used) was too soft for our tastes and I eneded up with a sore back. A firmer matress would have been welcome but I recognise this could be individual preference.

Very helpful especially at such a short notice.

The sound of the water pump turning on during the night and the rumble and shaking of trucks as they passed.

Great overnight stop. Whole house more than adequate for four adults. Full kitchen well equipped. Good beds. Good shower. Handy location in town. Parking easy. Access instructions clear.

Location close to several eating places and other shops. Used the washing machine at no cost. Reasonably quiet. Good fan heater.

Concrete basement feel of dampness - too cold and not secure to open windows.
