The property can be reached by a public ferry and a speedboat. Please share your flight details with the property at least 3 days before your arrival to secure your seat(s) for the transfer. Public Ferryboat a 90-minute round trip: Departure from Villingili Ferry Terminal (Malé) - 15:00 Departure from Maafushi Island - 07:30 Please note that there are no ferry services on Fridays. Please note that advance booking is required for speedboat transfers. All additional costs are to be paid directly to the hotel upon check-in. The hotel is located in Maafushi island, which is a local inhabited island. Government regulations there require that guests do not wear bikini or similar swim wear while in Maafushi. However, the hotel will arrange trips to picnic islands for guests where these restrictions are not applied.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Managed by a private host A deposit may be required at the property.

"Prison cell room with no windows, they are liars and scammers."

They LIED in the room description, it said the superior room, has a “view” and a “city view” and guess what? It has no windows like a prison cell. The only thing superior about it is its price. I asked them to switch my room because I cannot stay in a room with no windows, since I didn’t pay to live in a pitch black box and the lady at the receptions rolled her eyes at me and told me “The superior room has no balcony.” Ok, ok, no balcony, but i want WINDOWS, not a balcony. She then pretended like she didn’t understand there is a difference between windows and balcony. After I tried to explain to her that I do not want a balcony, I just want a window, which is a hole in a full wall, that is coverd with glass, she said she “will try to change my room”. I guess she didn’t try hard enough, cause she didn’t change anything. I had to sleep in the rat box all 4 nights. So if you want to experience being scammed I recommend you to book this hotel!

"Very run-down hotel and it smells bad."

The breakfast was good

The hotel is very old, run-down, and poorly maintained. The photos do not match reality at all. Everywhere you look, there are rusty and very old items, cracks in the walls, and signs of neglect. The room is very small, and the bathroom is extremely tiny and smelled really bad, like strong sewage odors. Even the shower gel and shampoo were placed in cheap-looking bottles with handwritten labels. There were even old contact lenses from a previous guest stuck around the bathroom. Overall, a very bad experience. I do not recommend it. I felt very deceived because, in the photos, the hotel looks new and very nice, but it couldn’t be further from the truth.

"Really poor and overpriced."

Location was the only good thing about the hotel.

Our ‘city view’ room window was literally a brick wall. The hotel photos are a lie and the hotel has a huge construction site joined to the building. A lot of the staff were quite rude and unhelpful. The room and other areas of the hotel weren’t anything like the photos.

Well maintained

*Disappointing Stay* I recently stayed at this property and was left underwhelmed. While the property itself was decent, the sea view room I booked was a letdown. The property is situated far back, making the sea view extremely limited. Additionally, the ongoing construction next door made the area dirty and uninviting. Unfortunately, the reception staff didn't make up for these shortcomings. The guy at the front desk came across as arrogant and unwelcoming. To make matters worse, he tried to charge me extra for a ferry transfer that I had already booked personally. Moreover, despite informing them of my arrival timings, no pickup was arranged. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I would think twice before recommending this property to others. Rating: 2/5

"AVOID THIS HOTEL - Deceptive, Noisy, and Mismanaged"

The staff were generally pleasant and eager to assist with any requests that fell within their responsibilities. They showed genuine courtesy whenever I interacted with them, providing clear directions, promptly arranging transportation, and promptly addressing small issues like an extra sheet or a restaurant recommendation. While they couldn’t always fix every problem due to certain limitations beyond their control, their willingness to help and their positive attitudes made a noticeable difference in my overall experience.

1. False Advertising The online listing is completely misleading. It shows the hotel as a standalone building with serene surroundings. In reality, there’s a multi-story construction project attached to the hotel. Room Impact: My room had no view—just a concrete wall half a foot from the window. Noise Pollution: Construction noise was constant throughout the day, making relaxation impossible. None of this was disclosed during booking. 2. Absent Management There was no management on-site during my stay. Staff gave conflicting reasons: some said studies, others said vacation. Ignored Complaints: I was given the manager’s WhatsApp, but after requesting a call to discuss my concerns, he completely ghosted me. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. 3. No Internet Access The Wi-Fi signal in my room was nonexistent. Failed Fixes: The staff tried to resolve the issue but couldn’t. Without internet, I couldn’t work, plan, or stay connected, which was a major inconvenience for a modern hotel.
