Everything was very nice. John was such a lovely guy and patron! The homestay has motorbikes for rent (brand new as for the date of this review) at a very good price! Very convenient to have them at the stay ready available. AC working perfectly.

We had the bad luck to have some other guests being a bit rowdy until late one night and we couldn't sleep. Nothing to do with the stay though, we reported it to John as it was against his house rules and didn't happen again.

I stayed at Araw for 28 days. John was very responsive to the guests’ needs - ie fresh towels, toiletries, water, etc. Kitchen is tiny so there were times that we cooked and gathered outside which was also a good socialising experience. It’s easy to connect with guests cos the place is tiny and cozy plus John had many interesting stories from his local and international travels. I had many good memories in this homestay.

Best host ever! Clean and comfortable. I felt at home

It felt like a home with a really chill vibe. All the amenities were great and you can hire bikes. John was a wonderful and super helpful host. 100% would have loved to have stayed longer.

I had an amazing stay here! The place was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. It really felt like a home. The host was incredibly attentive and always willing to help with anything I needed. I felt welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable experience!

I absolutely loved this place! The owner, John, is so friendly and helpful and just an amazing host who makes you feel right at home. He's always quick to answer and makes sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The hostel is super clean and because its so small (only 1 dorm and 1 private room) its very social and it feels like the other guests are more like your housemates. There's also a nice and cozy living room, garden and kitchen where you can socialise and cook/eat together. The hostel is in a quiet area but the touristy area with restaurants, beachclubs etc is within walking distance. 10/10 would recommend! 😁
