Jan was very accommodating with my early check in time and let me leave my bags in the living room as I waited to check in. I originally booked for 4 nights but ended up staying an extra 5. Because the Homestay can only accommodate up to 6 people the place is a lot quieter then other places in siargao. For the price you pay and what you get the value is amazing. Place is cleaned daily and shower also has hot water. A/C in the rooms is also super comfortable. If you have a wise account he can help you withdraw money without the crazy high atm fees. The Homestay is close to everything and easy to walk to scooter rentals around his neighbourhood. He can help with booking transportation to and from the airport as well if needed. Had many amazing conversations with jan during my stay and would definitely recommend booking here if you’re looking for a comfortable bed to stay in during your time in siargao.

Ooo the beds are spacious, not much people in one room so i was able to get sleep, love how its not hot and humid, use of smart TV, good for a chill, quiet, recharging stay

The beds are so comfortable, the AC is great, the living room is a nice communal area, and the whole place is kept very clean. The owner was so friendly and accommodating, offering great advice and recommendations.

John is such a lovely host and makes each guest feel welcome. The place is cozy and comfortable with a very nice yard. Everything is squeaky clean - this is the cleanest place I have ever stayed at during my travel in SE Asia. The place has high speed internet if you need to work, which is uncommon in the Philippines, but you will find it here. I stayed here for more than a week and it was great, so don't think twice, book here 🙂

Perfect place for comfort and relaxation! The smart television was a great add on to enjoy. Motorbike rentals were affordable. Quite and safe neighbourhood and close to the supermarket and many restos/cafes. The people easily feel like nice roommates to have. Everyone extends until the places get fully booked.

The washroom didn't have enough room to place your belongings to shower and had to squidgy the water towards the drainage, although I actually enjoyed doing it. The water dispenser doesn't have a cold option, and the fridge can get filled up with no room for a large jug to store cold water. But these are completely manageable! Overall the place is great. 🤙🏼

The owner John was absolutely lovely and responded super quickly! The location was pretty good but a 10 minute walk from the main area.
