Tokiwa Bekkan

What an amazing ryokan. It was totally a surprise. It was so so luxurious for the price we paid. Getting such a large ryokan in Japan for your holiday is a luxury. The staff is so nice and helps you with smallest of things. I was so worried about my shoe getting wet in rain, they actually dried it and kept it warm before i left next day. Where else would you find such top notch service. This is the best hotel I stayed in Japan and would recommend everyone to stay here once in their lifetime. We even had a balcony kind of space with a garden view. Cant really get over that. The whole town is so well coordinated. It was really heaven on earth.

Absolutely nothing

The location was very peaceful, and the property itself was gorgeous and within easy walking distance of most of the onsens! I loved the dinner and breakfast spreads. I enjoyed strolling around in a yukata and sleeping in a futon (I often nap on the floor, so futons are right up my alley). And the staff was so kind and understanding when I arrived for check-in (and dinner, technically) a bit late!!

The only thing that was slightly uncomfortable was the amount of food at dinner; it was simply a bit too much for me. However, that was purely the limit of my body, and could easily be the perfect portion size for someone else!

Our room was very big and quite, the hotel's onsen was great and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Superlative attention to detail in everything. Wifi worked well and there was a lot of info about the town and the whole onsen experience in general, perfect for newbies. Great experience, I would definitely stay again.

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The property also has its own Onsen which we thoroughly enjoyed. Included in the stay, the property provides a pass to use at all the Onsens in town. 10/10 would recommend to stay here!!!

My stay was simply amazing and a beautiful experience. In-house Onsen at your disposal until midnight. Beautiful garden, Rooms are big (in general and especially for Japan) Japanese Dinner (served in my Room) was well put together and delicious. Communication advanced to my arrival (booking of the dinner) via Booking.com platform quick and in English. The staff is extremely polite and attentive. They provided a transfer to the train station on my day of the departure, altough walkable.
