An exceptional place to rest. Inner garden, onsen on sight + they give a pass to public onsens in town, Sakura trees alley starting right from the property, food served in the room.

"Excellent ambiance"

The staff were wonderful and accomodating my limited Japanese to communicate, helpful in giving restaurant recommendations and attempting to help me make reservations for a place that turned out to be closed the evening of.

Location was slightly further out from core of town.

Delightful ryokan with lovely gardens, large and comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, on-site onsen and only a short walk to restaurants and all the sights of Kinosaki-onsen!

"Beautiful Ryokan and one of my favourite memories of Japan."

This Ryokan is beautiful. The pictures don't show off the room as it is, it was enormous, clean and beautiful. I felt as thought I was in a dream! The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly, and offered us a bus ride into the town as the Ryokan is slightly out of the way. However It is still easy walking distance to the kinosaki ropeway and onsens in town. It was very peaceful with a beautiful garden in the centre. I cannot highlight enough how lovely all the staff were and helpful.

It isn't clear what prices are for drinks with your meal.

"Made me a fan of ryokans and onsen! Fantastic experience"

It was outstanding!! The staff was really kind, the room was fantastic and the garden views were pretty. I had to check out very early and they accommodated transportation for me to go to the station. Their open air bath was the highlight of my trip, it felt amazing and it was really relaxing. I will be back!!!

Well maintained, our rooms where super spacious and the service was next level. We felt so special and cared for by the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Close enough to Kinosaki that you could walk in to the Onsens but they also had a shuttle ready to ferry you to locations in the area. Amazing service, would definitely recommend.
