Tokiwa Bekkan

This was my second stay at Tokiwa Bekkan and just as amazing as first time! The room is so peaceful and serene, the staff friendly, and the location and amenities are perfect. The evening and morning lounge is such a nice bonus! I love Kinosaki Onsen and this ryokan is perfect- close to the three nicest onsen (in my opinion) friendly staff and so comfortable. I wish to come back again!

I felt a bit rushed to leave. At 10am check out I would have liked to be able to sit in the lobby with a coffee and consider my plans for the day, maybe do more in the area, but they seemed very keen to get me out. I could have made more effort to communicate with a translation app though

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful ryokan! Everything was perfect. Fantastic dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff. Onsen in the hotel was a nice touch.

Everything! Lovely room, perfect location to visiting onsen and short walk from train station. Lovely bath on site, accommodating to foreign guest. Room was spacious, relaxing and comfortable. Nice to have yukata to borrow for onsen visits and nice lounge area for evening. It was the perfect choice and I will be back. Excellent value for money.

Really beautiful garden view and small but nice private onsen. Staff were so lovely and really made the experience.

It’s slightly further out than the other places but still very close to the two public baths. There’s also a shuttle to and from the train station.

We had the perfect stay at Tokiwa Bekkan. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was great and gave us the perfect experience of staying in a traditional Japanese-style room. The view of the garden was stunning both in the day and at night. It was a fairly short walk to the bath houses. I think there was a shuttle available from the station but we chose to walk instead. There was a lovely and calm lounge area where there were complimentary drinks to enjoy during certain times. Our stay was excellent value for money - the facilities and service surpassed our expectations.

We found the futons a little uncomfortable to sleep on but I think that's just because we are not used to them. We still enjoyed the experience of trying something new.
