Brand new and spacious rooms. Good AC. Nice staff. Quiet area. Pleasant space with pool and some activities like Yoga and BBQ.

Mattress is a bit stiff for my liking. Breakfast is decent but only 3 basic options.

The Sri Lankan staff

Lovely space, very clean and new. Room was huge and the shower was excellent. Massive bed, clean sheets, towels etc. Pool was a highlight. The owner was very welcoming and gave me a free drink as my room wasn’t ready when I arrived. Breakfast was lovely.

It’s a pity there was no Sri Lankan breakfast as an option. Bit far from the main road and beach so would need to be getting a TukTuk or taxi if it’s late at night walking back on your own. There was a board advertising yoga etc but didn’t seem to be any yoga happening. Also there were young guests out in the foyer talking on a loud FaceTime till 1am

Beautiful property, every friendly and caring staff, big brand new spacious rooms with everything you need from king size comfortable bed, to fridge anf separate kitchen zone which was very convenient as I stayed for three weeks. It was the perfect price to quality ratio, great location with the beach 10 min walk, close to all the cool spots in Ahangama, Kabalana beach, bus stop, etc Breakfast is included, great big portions and options. Also, they host very cool events daily, lectures, Djs, BBQ, the restaurant serves great food all day, and they have a nice swimming pool to hang out by, wifi is quick and works perfectly, I highly recommend!

I loved everything!

The hotel is brand new! Best rooms we had in Sri Lanka: Comfortable beds, warm shower and rooms are super clean. The restaurant offers super healthy and tasty breakfast, unique in Sri Lanka. The swimming pool is very nice, and the location is good as its close towards Kabalana Beach.

The first two days, we experienced noise from the restaurant (music and loud guests) until 11 or 12 p.m. Our room was close to the restaurant, so this prevented us from sleeping. However, when we communicated this issue towards the owners, they did all their best to solve it, and we did not experience any noise afterwards! We did not get an elaborate explanation on the hotel facilities, activities or room when we arrived. This may be caused by a language barrier as the owners are Russian. We would suggest the owners to explain the language barrier to non-Russian guests on their arrival, use translation apps, or hire someone who speaks fluent English for check-in. The hotel is quite social and organises activities like a ping pong tournament and BBQ. The majority of guests in the hotel are Russians, which means that this is the main language used in the hotel. This might be good to know.

Clean, modern and very comfortable. The granola with tropical fruit for breakfast was delicious! The best I’ve had. Thank- you too for the owner who went out of his way to drive us into town for dinner after our late arrival.
