It looked great and unique. Felt like a great farm house.

The place was not very practical. Oven and kettle were dirty. Luckily the toaster was ok. Water was heated in a sauce pan. Not suitable for kids. Felt like it's Asian owned property as TV was not working and the Android box or smart internet was linked to Chinese programs. The stairs going to the upstairs bedroom are a little risky for children and seniors.

Quite location

the BBQ was not clean, we had to prepare it before use. Also the TV seemed to be locked some a foreign language so not able to use that for Netflix etc..all else was as described.

Feel like a surprise to our family

That is the best price and location for galaxy. We like this house which is country side style.

Large rustic quirky two storey home. Pizza oven in kitchen. Comfortable beds. Close to both Fairlie and Tekapo. Great views. Rural location. Plenty of outside space for children to ride bikes and run around.. Small stream close by. Large Nashi pear tree with ripe fruit.

Some maintenance of the property and surrounding land may be getting behind.

love the wood design! kitchen have everything I need even a rice cooker! Loved everything!

the shower pressure is too high , other than that perfect!

The house was very spacious.

Some amenities were faulty: stove did not work, wifi was unplugged, shower was clogged but leaked onto the bathroom floor. The host never responded when we had trouble/questions, yet expected us to stick to a bunch of house rules. This was the worst experience of our entire trip and the worst stay I ever had in a long time, would not recommend it to anyone.

Spacious, rustic, bespoke charm. Views of the galaxy outside!

Lacks basic comforts, eg bedside lamps, milk for a cup of tea, functioning shower curtain...
