Casa Bambucha Hostel

- The staff and volunteers were lovely! - Private rooms were a good size - Cosy and comfortable decor was very relaxing (4 hammocks as well) - Breakfast was delicious and a good price - Free coffee all day - Good size kitchen to cook in - There was a kitten being fostered for a few days when we were there (it’s since been homed) but he was he sweet and made our stay - Very quiet in the day as most people are surfing - Showers were warm - Short walk to restaurants and shops and beach - Two fans in the bedroom

- Toilets could have done with being cleaned more regularly (trash being taken out more often) - The water cooler needs replacing, it was very temperamental. Sometimes worked. Sometimes didn’t. - The private room beds are so hard - There’s so many gaps in the building between the wooden slats so you do get bit a lot by mosquitos even with the net above the bed

This place was such a gem. The owners were so welcoming, the volunteers so helpful, I love the full kitchen, everything was perfect

Great place, fantastic vibe, good kitchen and great free coffee, easy to meet people, lovely Portuguese owners. 5 minute walk to the beach. And biggest surprise:they have the warmest (or least cold haha) showers of all of my stays in el salvador and Nicaragua! 😊

The homemade granola and yoghurt wasn't available 😭

C'est un joli hôtel tout en bois. Relativement confortable et situé près de la plage. L'endroit est bien tenu et propre.

Location was good - only a shot walk to beach and bus. The room (private upstairs) was cozy & clean. The 2 young guys (owners) were pleasant, kind, & had good English. I did love walking on the beach there; I was disappointed there was no one English speaking to do the Mangrove tour - and no horses available on the days I requested.

The structure of the building (wooden), could be very noisy when people stomped up & down the stairs without regard for other people. The kitchen, showers & toilets should be cleaned more frequently. Maybe I'm getting too old for "dorm" style places... but overall, I enjoyed it!
