Vermilion Inn

The hotel didn't seem as it did in the online pictures. Very outdated, the furniture was too big for the room, front lobby was not designed for flow and the hotel was just run down. but the bed was clean.

Toilet seat was broken. Tap in sink had a constant drip. Bathroom light switch failed to work intermittently.

Good overall, yet old and in dire need of updating. Locally owned so there is no corporate oversight on this property. Room keys stopped working three times during our stay, and it appears this is a common occurrence at this property. Laundry facilities advertised, yet only one washer and one dryer and they were both broken and in pieces.

Online listing looks much better than in person. This is an old Roadway Inn motel that would be fine at $59 or less. It's rundown and dingy. Had small pebbles and who knows what else on the carpet - could feel it through our socks in the room, indicating a no-vacuum situation. Arrived after 9pm hoping for a hot tub soak, but it was already closed. Probably dodged some nasty cooties there. Shower didn't drain properly and filled up during use. Beds were fine but after the dirty carpet we were worried about having clean bedding.

Good value but a little run down.

The place is rather old and shabby. The room is nice & clean, but really could use an update.

First night we stayed we got a room with roaches. Bathroom was disgusting. Towels, bed sheets and walls had roaches. Not sure if that one room specifically was the only one that was dirty, but I did ask for another room & we did inspect it before staying. Not enough toiletries nor did they clean the room nor add any new towels for my entire stay. Very poor!

This property needs work. Old and worn

The condition of the hotel is pretty bad, but it's cheap. I would not stay again.

The check in was very late the bathroom was noisy leaking moldy
