Mabalel Lodge

The staff was nice and friendly and even went out of their way to provide us with charcoal and plates for our braai. Kids' entertainment was definitely 👌 Our kids enjoyed the pool, jumping castles and swings.

The bedding wasn't clean and there were drool stains on the pillows on the bed. Only 1 out of the 3beds sheets looked clean. On the last morning of our trip, there was no water. We left without taking a shower.

There was no air conditioner as advertised. Rooms very hot with a fan that makes noise

The beds was a bit uncomfortable. The food services was terrible, our second day we waited 2 and a half hours for 2 plates of chips. On request of the manager we ordered early so we will have our meals on time. After all this our meals was still not even prepared and they used the excuse that they are busy. After we put in our order early enough to receive it on time like we requested. I just think this is terrible service. And we were not the only people that complained about the service. They only have one chef that has to do everything, they will have to expand and get more kitchen staff.

Location

No kitchen stuff that can be used for self catering accommodation. It was disappointing as we thought we can enjoy our traditional food, but no we were forced to buy at there bar , food and drinks while we got ours and we were not able to enjoy drinks outside only inside our room

We celebrated our engagement with friends on the property, they went far and beyond to accommodate us with their lovely staff.
