Horizon Hotel

The staff was friendly enough when we arrived and the next morning. Other guests were kind.

AC didn't work, room definitely lacked cleaning and had bugs along the walls. Very, very run down place much more so than pictures led onto.

Staff was nice and helpful. My kids loved the mini breakfast waffles they could make themselves.

The pool was out of commission, so the kids were disappointed. Had I known, we would’ve gone with a different hotel, and it wasn’t worth the money without being able to use the pool. Website said nothing about it ahead of time. It used to be a Super 8, and that sign was still up, so we drove past it and turned around, then saw the small Horizon Hotel sign underneath the old Super 8 sign.

The staff was so wonderful. Very accommodating.

The bed was way too hard. The sheets didn't fit, so they came off during the night. Also the bottom sheet was inside out.

Checked in, but only to be told that their is no pool or Hot tub. Closed. The receptionist was very helpful.

We checked in, passed spilt garbage outside the side door, dry cereal on the stairs, opened the door to the room assigned only to find it had not been cleaned. We went back downstairs and checked out. Did not stay at all.

Everything. Totally unacceptable.

Horizon Hotel was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. We left after the first night because we found bugs in the bed and in the towels in the bathroom.

It is in Vernal, Utah. That is the best thing about the hotel.

Breakfast was minimal, just toast, cereal, milk, waffle maker, yogurt. Staff only there from 3 pm to 10 pm. Hallways have bad smell. Toilet overflowed 1st thing in morning, no plunger, no one to help. Yuck!!!
