Misty Wonders

Breakfast was really poor. 1. Firstly it was delayed / late which made us late for our hike. 2. Instead of offering us coffee and tea, we had to use our own kettle and tiny packs of pretty revolting instant coffee. There is amazing coffee in Kerala, it would have been so easy to get us some proper coffee and milk in the morning (or chai). The room was clean when we arrived but we weren't given any toilet roll .

A quiet place nestled among the hills. It was newly built, and spacious, very clean. Bed was comfortable. The room was well appointed. The staff did their best to get us whatever meals we wanted, since the place did not have a restaurant on site yet. So choices were limited. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is surrounded by a nice tea estate. There were several birds sitting in the trees around the hotel and they would sing and whistle all the time.

The lack of a garden, a place to walk around, the driveway was not paved and was very rocky. Still under construction.

The room is the same as on the pictures, location was really good, and the staff was really nice.

The location of our room was stunning. The standard and finish was impeccable. Once we had arrived the staff were very friendly and offered us food which was ordered via an online menu and alcoholic drinks at an additional charge. The room was beautiful and finished to a great standard, there was a bath in our room which was a nice treat.

There was a lot of construction work going on at the site as it is unfinished. We were having breakfast in the morning looking out at a spectator view but with an angle grinder going in the background and banging. This was the same in the evening too, even after 8pm works were still going on. The food menu was a bit confusing and then when the food arrived it was quite cold wrapped in cling film, although it did taste good.

This is a boutique pension with just four rooms located on a nice valley near Munnar. Access is difficult but very nice through some tea plantations. Building is new and modern with a large bathroom and a nice bathtub. Staff present at the location was really nice and helpful providing all the information necessary for our stay.

Room is quite small and right now there aren't so many possibilities to have other activities around the place. They are planning to expand the facility and to build a swimming pool as well. Unfortunately, as almost everywhere in India, even new hotels / guesthouses are not well kept and after few months you can see the dirty spots everywhere.

Spacious, Clean Rooms, View from the Balcony is mesmerising. The Host(Owner) is also very nice.

Wifi was not working properly, breakfast quality can be improved. The checkout experience was a shocker, all the staff members are nice but one of the staff members who is the oldest in age behaved very rudely. A day before, the owner of the place happily adhered to my request to check out late at 3pm. Suddenly around 2:30pm that old staff member came to my room asking to check out while I was in an important business call on the phone. I happily obliged and since most of the luggage was packed I did the final packaging quickly and kept the luggage outside the room in the balcony area waiting to finish up my business call. That old staff member came again within 5 mins and started shouting at me as if he literally wanted to throw me outside the property while I was on a phone call. Horrible experience

Our room was very clean, breakfast was delicious. The property owner was very helpful. Landscape - breathtaking! The best stay in Munnar, no doubts!
