Everything was really nice. the owner is a gem and so is the neighbourhood. the room was very clean and I didnt see a single bug inside. free coffee. nice chill areas and an incredible price. stores very close and the main road a short walk. I liked the amount of nature and also the type of travellers I encountered there. it was great!

I didnt like that the cute kitten would not come snuggle me haha but it was very nice to look at.

The rooms are basic but have everything you need. There is free tea and coffee in the outside dining area as well as cutlery and plates which can be used. The location is very close to chocolate hills, but there isn’t much else around. However, if you want to feel like a local and have a more real experience of the Philippines, this place was perfect. The family were amazing. They were so lovely, they spoke very good English and couldn’t do enough for you. They definitely made our experience.

room is a bit small

I stayed in one of the upstairs rooms. Only sharing the bathroom with one other room a nice change. (there are also new rooms freshly built at the back of the garden, but I preferred the upstairs ones). They have created a nice spacious sheltered terrace to relax on. Views of the countryside lovely. It was very rainy when I was there, so having that space to escape the weather occasionally was welcome. Family tried hard to accommodate all my requests, were very flexible, and any confusions sorted out without any fuss. Room kinda small, but comfy bed with good mosquito net.

Even though you are outside the village, its still kinda noisy at times - the road that passes has some trucks (construction site nearby? temporary?) But bigger issue for guests might be the rooster farm across the road - yep, dozens of them. But overall, rural enough to relax - most of the time. Probably too far to walk to town, but most people will have scooters/cars anyway.
