Our host was so welcoming and kind. She met us upon arrival and stays on the property. She made us an elaborate breakfast every morning and always asked us about our plans for the day, providing recommendations. Our first evening, she even walked us to a local restaurant for dinner. The house was clean and comfortable with lovely ondol heated floors and bedding. The property is beautiful and quiet but still only 10 minutes to many of the tourist destinations.

As a tall person, I hit my head many times on the low doorways and exposed beams in the very narrow bathroom.

What an amazing stay! The owner, Yasun, made us an excellent homemade vegetarian Korean breakfast (one of our party is vegetarian), with lovely teas, on handmade ceramic plates and cups. The breakfast was delicious, and the host was gracious and generous. She constructed the traditional Korean buildings herself, and there is a gallery of her beautiful artwork. The home is located in a gorgeous, peaceful country setting in Gyeong-Ju. Staying here is a very special, spiritual experience, and we hope to return soon!

Perfect hanok experience. The host was super nice and made us very good breakfasts. Also, the house is really beautiful and quiet. Overall it was a very authentic and relaxing stay Even if it's not located in the immediate surroundings of the touristic spots of Gyeongju, it's rather easy to visit the town by bus and taxi. From the place it's however very convenient to hike to Namsan.

We arrived late by car and where greeted by our host. She showed us the beautiful Hanok, where to breakfast and where we could do laundry. In addition she walked us to a great restaurant so we wouldn't get lost on the way. On the next day we've got a traditional korean breakfast with organic food and went to explore the museum and the barrows of the villa period kings and queens. There are is a lot to see and to experience in the surroundings and there and we got a good guide from our host with recommendations. We've enjoyed our trip to Gyeonju very much and felt at home despite the long distance. If you ever make a trip to Korea you need to stay here for a few nights. It will be a memorable experience you shouldn't miss out.

Yasun is a wonderful host, she welcomed us with kindness and an open heart. She is a true artist, who had so much stories, memories and thoughts to share. We felt really inspired and our time spent here was healing and recharging. It was a great opportunity to sleep in traditional way on the floor, and my back pain was gone after my first night. Although the place is somewhat further from the city, it makes the environment truly calm and peaceful. You can feel close to nature, and truly experience the traditional house experience. We appreciate so much this amazing time we spent here! Thank you much Yasun! We hope to be back one day in the future :)

Only one guest group can stay in this place. Host is amazing and it is the perfect place to enjoy Korean traditional housing culture. It is unforgettable experience to feel calm and peaceful healing moment in the nature.
