Very kind and helpful owners. Beautiful traditional house. Great breakfast!!

* hostess was amazing * upon arrival she prepared cake and tea * every morning different homemade Korean breakfast * a slight language barrier, but if you use a translation app it's easy to manage * the location is outside the city, we took a taxi there (they are cheap) * the hostess recommends and shows you to the local duck bulgogi restaurant, make sure to go! * as it's traditional you sleep on the heated floor, we went in March and found the room really warm. There is additional cushioning in the cupboard in case the floor is too hard (we used it) *the hostess helped us order a taxi each day

Very friendly host (a bad*ss local artist), tasty homemade breakfast, cozy hanok house that you're staying in with a pretty garden - expect authenticity, not luxury! Beautiful countryside environment set outside of Gyeonju city limits... although those looking for a central location may see this as a negative, to us it was a positive since there's actually a lot to do in the surrounding area (ie. hiking, seeing temples & other Buddhist sites, etc.) & being immersed in nature was very calming. So many flowers & birds!

The setting of the Hanok style and very nice equipped accommodation. Jeong Hee is a very friendly and helpful host. The Korean style breakfast is every day a surprise, fresh made from Jeong Hee, we enjoyed it very much. We can recommend everyone to stay at Yasun Gallery to enjoy a real traditional accommodation. It needs some time to get used to sleep on the thin futons.

A cosy and comfortable traditional place to stay, our host was lovely and her art work beautiful. Breakfast was great.

The hostess was really warm and welcoming and she provided us with a traditional Korean lifestyle in everything, from beds to breakfast. Breakfast was especially amazing because it provided us with a great variety of traditional Korean foods and flavours, from soups and teas to fish and fruits. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Yasun Gallery. The host was so thoughtful and generous, she even made us gifts to take home. The delicious ginger tea and cake on arrival was exactly what we needed after our long journey, and we very much enjoyed our homemade morning breakfasts! We were nice and warm and comfortable in our room, especially with how cold it is in January. Thank you for a lovely stay. If you want an authentic traditional Korean experience, this is the place to stay. We will always remember our time in Gyeongju and your kindness :)

We couldn’t figure out how to turn off the underfloor heating in the room so were a bit hot at night. Some instructions might be useful, but we should have just asked!
