Beautiful Beachfront Condo

The greatest thing about this property is the location. It's right on a gorgeous stretch of coastline and the condo itself looks out over the water. It's on the 4th floor so you really get a nice view. The condo was clean and had a good amount of towels and pillows for all 4 of us. We appreciated the extra twin bed in the bedroom as we had two adult children with us and one of them used that bed while the other one used the living room bed. In general, it was very comfortable. Check in was a little difficult as we couldn't really find the lockboxes right away but once we found them, the directions were easy to follow. We had good communication from the owner.

While clean, the property could use a few amenities like some power outlets, a box of tissue, and maybe a side table for the twin bed. It felt a little spartan compared to other vrbo type properties we've rented. They also need some directions for the tv setup - my husband, who is pretty technically savvy, had a hard time getting it to work. While the condo itself has been updated and was comfortable inside, the exterior needs major work. The parking lot is a mess with construction equipment all over the place, the building itself looks very old and run down, and the overall impression when you drive up is not good. The worst part was at 7am both mornings, something below us starting making a whirring sound, and around 8am, the construction started. Literally in the condo below us. They weren't just hammering - they were cutting tile and concrete, and it was LOUD. There were signs up on the property that they were replacing a water pipe, so they were cutting down through concrete to get to it. We literally couldn't have the doors to the ocean open and when they were closed, it wasn't much better. We ended up leaving to get away and never used the beach. This was not disclosed at all during the booking process. Once I booked it, I received an email with my confirmation, and in that email, a link to a renter portal was embedded in the information and literally just said "click here" with no explanation on what the clicking would do. I did not click it until way later when we got closer to our trip. The portal had house rules, the location, etc. At the very bottom of the page was info about the construction and how we could back out of the rental within 24 hours of booking it. (insert eye roll emoji here). I never saw the construction info until I went looking for it. Considering what we paid, we got rooked. It should have been heavily, heavily discounted to expect renters to accommodate that noise and mess and clearly disclosed from the...

​The place had a definite mix of good and bad points. ​On the positive side, the space was large and well-equipped. The view from the living room balcony was absolutely fantastic, and being so close to the sandy beach made us happy the entire time we were there. ​The downside was the lack of a check-in counter, which made getting into the room a bit of a challenge. Once we finally got inside, we were excited about the spacious room, TV, and washing machine, but then we noticed one of the two sinks was clogged. ​What was most disappointing, though, was that almost all of the metal parts were rusty. The balcony table and chairs, the dish rack by the sink, the inside of the portable air conditioner—nearly everything metal was severely rusted. We figured it was probably unavoidable since the place is right by the ocean, but even so, having rust flakes fall every time we opened or closed the curtains was a real mood killer. We wouldn't want to stay here again.

뷰가 좋았고, 아늑하고 조용한 객실이었고, 공간이 넓어 가족들이 지내기 충분했습니다. 특히 세탁기, 건조기가 여행기간 중 큰 도움이 되었습니다. 바다가 바로 앞에 있어 놀기도 좋았습니다.

다만, 침실에 커튼이 없어, 복도의 밝은 전등이 그대로 들어왔고, 테라스 쪽의 문은 뻑뻑해서 잘 열리지 않았습니다. 작은 이동식 에어컨이 있었지만, 충분히 시원하지 않았습니다.

We had the most wonderful stay! The apartment was clean and beautifully updated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were even chairs, snorkels, goggles and anything else you would need for the beach. The location is perfect! Beautiful mountains right out the front door and a quiet beach out the back. Some of our family enjoys more waves for boogie boarding etc. There was every type of beach you could want near by. Grocery shopping is close by as well. We enjoyed being out in the quiet and calm country more than the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. I cannot imagine a more perfect place and we definitely hope to stay here again❤️

We enjoyed everything! If I had to say anything, maybe having a few board games would be nice:)

There wasn’t any dressers I did not like living out of a suitcase for a week. I wish there was a dresser.

The instructions for getting to the property were clear and communicated really well—everything was easy to follow! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking and preparing meals. The bed in the master bedroom is incredibly comfy—every night, I slept like a baby!

Location was exceptional with great ocean access and views. The kitchen was very clean and handy and full time security was on site for the weekend portion of our stay.

The condo itself was crowded for 4 adults and would be insufferable for the advertised full occupancy of 6. Best for a single couple and maybe two small children. The refrigerator ice maker was broken and it took a while to figure out how to turn it off.
