It’s a small, simply furnished place, but it has everything you need. I’ve honestly never had such kind hosts before. Rommel and Vilma are incredibly attentive, cook delicious food, and help you with absolutely everything — especially with planning excursions (snorkeling, island hopping, scooter rental, etc.). The accommodation also has a great location right by the sea, and it only takes about 10 minutes by kayak to reach the best snorkeling spot in Coron.

I loved this place!! Vilma and Romel are the sweetest and friendliest hosts. Their homestay is really cute and located in a small village, 10 minutes away from the center of Coron. It’s the perfect place to relax and experience the local life. The rooms are super cozy and clean. There’s an amazing pizza place next to their home, best pizza I had in south-east Asia. I am vegetarian, and Romel took me to his sister’s vegan restaurant in Coron center and it was super delicious. Also the best snorkeling spot of the island is located next to there homestay, and they let you use their kayak to go there. So if you’re looking for a peaceful and authentic place, this is the place for you!!!

Filipino Hospitality, we really enjoyed our meals during our stay. The rooms were comfortable filipino style (no AC or hot water for shower) but nights were comfortable with fans and sea breeze and views.

We book our tours in advance, due to mistake host lost our tour business and we lost out on their private tour packages.

Romel and Vilma are very welcoming. Their place is right on the water in a quaint little village. They provide exceptional service whether it be cooking meals , doing laundry or motor bike rentals.

The location is acceptable, but to get there it is necessary to rent a motorbike or pay for a tuk tuk, which costs around $400. The room is fine for the price and has a fan. We stayed for four days and occasionally there was no water or electricity. The internet is coin-operated and not always included. The hosts are very helpful and assist with organizing activities and logistics, which we really appreciated.

I am lowering the rating because during all the days of our stay there was a dog kept in a small cage where it could barely move. It was very sad to see every day. Tourists are not used to seeing animals in this condition, as in our countries animals are usually well cared for. It felt very cruel. I truly hope they can free the dog and give it the care and affection it deserves.

Yes there's cockrels and karoke in the village but that's what being in the Philippines is about for us and much nicer than tourists belting out karoke in Coron. Romel and Wilma were very friendly ams welcoming. Thank you for sharing your special place with us.

If you are used to AC then you might need to consider that there is no AC in the room and on our night is was pretty hot without a breeze.

Romel and Vilma are incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming people. They truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Romel helped organize tricycle rides at fair prices and arranged a boat trip to the Siete Pecados Marine Park, which is literally right in front of the accommodation – an absolutely stunning snorkeling spot. You can order a delicious breakfast from Vilma for a very small price, which was a lovely start to the day. I felt extremely comfortable and safe throughout my entire stay. Romel was also amazingly kind and even took me to town on his motorbike (about a 10-minute ride). Coming back late at night was never an issue – I paid only 300 pesos at 12:30 a.m. This place truly feels like a home away from home. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back again.
