Koyasan Space

The host Paula is a wonderful woman who is friendly and helpful all the ways. The vibe of the hut is so peaceful and a perfect match of that of Koyashan. I have previously tried temple stay before. To me, it was even better to stay in Koyasan Space.

Not thinking of. Paula told me that she was thinking to add lunch with excllent food in her service. Hope she could make it.

Beautifully decorated and calming place

Everything. Paola was an exceptional in her kindness, generosity, local knowledge and creating delicious healthy breakfasts. I Felt so very comfortable and cared for. Even a temporary loan of glasses as I had lost mine. In a Great location. I would love to have stayed longer in this beautiful place.

Wonderful decoration, layout and choie of furniture. Centrally located in Koyasan, walking distance to everything Very spatious and tasteful.

Maybe too close to main road so getting a little traffic noise sometimes

Paola is incredibly kind and attentive. Every detail in her Japanese-style guesthouse has been carefully chosen. She has put so much thought into selecting each piece, and each has its own story. Throughout my stay, I felt a sense of peace and love. ........ Thank you so much, Paola. I’m so happy to have met you and to have stayed at Koyasan Space. I look forward to seeing you again!

The breakfast was amazing, we stayed for 3 nights and every morning it was something different, nutritious and delicious! Staying with Paulo was amazing, she really goes above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and have everything you need. The space itself is traditional Japanese and was beautiful to relax in, highly recommend! Koyasan is a very special place, if I was to ever return I would stay again at koyasan space as it fitted the vibe of the whole village.

When staying at Koyasan Space, the hostess creates a world into which you can escape. It is one of absolute comfort and ease. It is so wonderful that you might forget that you are even in Japan. And this has the marvellous effect of allowing you to experience Koyasan with new eyes every day. To rediscover it. She has manicured a truly unique experience that is not only top class amongst hotels, but one that also enhances your enjoyment of the surrounding beauty that is offered by Koyasan.

The apartment is a beautifully renovated Japanese house, decorated in a tasteful way, including several rooms for the guests to use, and a lovely garden. Everything was super clean. The hostess was extremely thoughtful and very keen to meet our every need. We were offered thoughtfully constructed dishes for breakfast, with each ingredient being of the highest quality.
