The family are very welcoming and the location is excellent for catching the early morning bus. Lots of restaurants closed by

EVERYTHING. I needed a safe and quiet place to rest and I am so grateful that I found it. The family is so nice and welcome, the atmosfere is very calm, peaceful and it feels like home. The room was clean, cozy and confortable. The area is quiet and only walking distance from the main shopping area. I can only say good things about this place and totally recommend it.

View from my room wasn't exactly inspiring.

I arrived very late at night after a delay at the airport but the host was understanding and welcoming when I woke him up. I was catching a bus at 6.30 am and he was up and cheerful once again, showing me a short cut to the tourist bus stop. This is the perfect location for catching an early morning bus.. It's basic and good value for one night.

For the price, it was as expected. The bathroom could have been more thoroughly cleaned.

Good value for the money

Everything. Kathmandu Peace Guesthouse was our base camp while staying in Nepal. There is a great hospitality, the stuff is very friendly and helped to organize different kinds of excursions. We had a spacious, clean room. Kathmandu Peace Guesthouse is located in a quiet side street, has a nice roof top garden with view to Swayambhunath and multiple breakfast/lunch/dinner opportunities in the neighborhood.

The staff are very friendly and helpful The guesthouse is in a quiet area of Thamel Excellent small restaurants surrounding the guesthouse. Great shower after a long 15 day trek to Everest Base Camp.
