Lovely family run guesthouse. I stayed here twice and it was pretty quiet each time Room was clean and tidy and the shower was excellent. Domestic staff were friendly and polite. Good value for money

Although the guesthouse is in a quiet street it's not exactly picturesque although this may change in the future

Situated in the Thamel area but no disturbance sounds.

Warm hosting

Location at one end of Thamel was just right for us, tucked a way in a quiet backs street.

The roof terrace was uninviting and up an old wraught iron sprial staircase

Feel like this is such a hidden gem in Kathmandu. Family that owned this place was so kind. Lobby was nice with a bookshelf and nice selection. Rooms were comfortable, showers were good. It is tucked away in side streets so there was much less street noise, but I also felt safe at night as there were some businesses. I would absolutely stay here again and wish I had found it sooner!

Honestly nothing

Wonderful family run place in a quiete ally away from traffic and noice. The sweetest family! The rooms are small, but comfortable and I was lucky to get a balcony on the sunny side.

The bathroom in the room I was in real need of an upgrade, even though the owners took care of the most urgent thing, like a leaking pipe and also shifted a bad shower head.

Shower was just a trickle and hot water didn’t last long, all amenities weren’t ready for our arrival which was annoying after 14 hours of travelling

I enjoyed staying at Kathmandu Peace Guest House. It's located in great location where you will find supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes and restaurants. Rooms are very clean and modern. Wifi is very fast. Staff is super friendly. I'm really enjoying my time and feeling safe.
