Owner was very friendly and helpful. She made a lovely continental breakfast. Animals at the house were a welcome treat. Well behaved with extra cuteness. Facilities were spacious with the heritage charm, well maintained for a 200 year old house. Full bathroom (bath and shower available), a comfortable bed with ample warm blankets supplied, lounge facility with TV, WiFi availability. Small fridge and microwave as well as a tea and coffee station with lovely rusks. Beautiful garden with oak trees and resient squirels

The only thing we found was a small issue was the creaky bed. Due to the wooden frame, the bed creaks every time someone turns in their sleep, which tends to wake up a lighter sleeper. Otherwise a very pleasant stay. We will definitely book there again if we are in Wellington

"Paradise of happiness to stay"

Super cute house, garden & pool. Amazing breakfast (many fresh cut fruits, home made granola, eggs, avocado, cakes…). Family very available, alway helping. There are only two rooms, we booked the two with friends and we really had a big private space (2 living rooms) - very convenient.
