This historical palazzo is centrally located to the sights, restaurants, bars and experiences of Bologna. He brought us up to the roof terrace and showed us the landmarks of the city. The best part of our stay was the host, Carlo who is a very kind and friendly man. He genuinely loves meeting and interacting with his guests. Carlo takes pride in his breakfasts and was happy to make arrangements and dinner reservations for us. We also had the chance to meet Carlo’s son who lent us his tablet for the night so that we could watch an Italian football match. Grazie Carlo and son!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Our host was incredibly kind and helpful, even walking us to his favourite restaurant on day one! The b&b is stunning with views all around the city and warm sun on the balcony. The location is ideal for getting around easily on foot.

Carlo and the accommodation (constructed in 15th century) is the most authentic and great experience one can have in Bologna. The palazzo has been held in the same family for a while. It is wonderful and full of historic and nature paintings as well. My favorite was the amazing dining room that made me feel like an aristocrat family member. The breakfast (and welcome aperetif) is very tasty and the extra knowledge that the host Carlo adds to your experience (inkl. Italian history and Bologna restaurant reservations) was very unique. Also the offered parking lot was very helpful. Thank you, Carlo - this stay we will never forget :)

This property was absolutely beautiful. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else. The location was perfect!
