The host is amazing. He made the experience. Great location. The salon is breathtaking. You have to be ready to go up quite a few flights of stairs - I actually liked it (as did my exercise tracker lol!). The host helped with luggage.

We had a great stay in Bologna ! The host was very welcoming, very friendly, with a lot of attention for his guests. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice ! You can enjoy the terrasse with a beautiful view on the city ! The bed was comfortable and we slept very good !

It was all good ! For the terrasse, 2 long chairs might could even more coziness.

"Gem of a find in Bologna"

Great location near the centre of Bologna. Stunning accommodation, with great history. Lovely views from the terrace - we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset from there. Really tasty breakfast. Private parking at the accommodation was a brilliant bonus. Even better than all of this though is Carlo, the host. He went above and beyond in terms of hospitality, providing suggestions for where to visit; making dinner reservations for us; sorting out a driving pass for the city (& an extra one at short notice when we had to change hire cars); making sure we had everything we needed.

"Exceptional"

The host and his dog were exceptional. Would go back just to be with them. Carlo made dinner reservations for us at places that were of great quality and value . As he said, the food in Bologna can vary quite a bit. Not all food in Italy is good. Carlo is a beautiful person that everyone should meet.

Carlo, the host, the most exuberant host who showed pride in his property and the city he loves :The Fat One. I loved the church bells that told you it’s time to start your morning of adventure waiting for your day ahead!!!! I love his chocolate and pear muffins…

Bologna taxes on cars inside the historic district,, not just his property, all have to collect.
