"A wonderful experience!"

The location of the hotel is ideal for those who want do some hiking around the ponds. It is also only 20min drive to Shibutoge where sunrise and sunset can be spectacular! The room is spacious and comfortable and we enjoy both the private and public onsen. Above all, the staff are very friendly and helpful and we always feel very welcome. We stayed for 4 nights in mid-Oct when autumn was at its peak, and returned for another night at the end of October when we were fortunate to see frost. Whenever we travel to Nagano for autumn, Shiga Kogen is a must, and whenever we are in Shiga Kogen, this hotel is always our choice!

If there is any feedback, it would be that the pillows are too high and not firm enough. Perhaps the hotel can provide guests with a choice of pillows.

"Séjour inoubliable dans la campagne japonaise !"

J’étais réellement triste de partir : le séjour était inoubliable. Le personnel était aux petits soins, la chambre chauffée, propre, et les futons très confortables. Des yukata étaient mis à disposition. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner japonais étaient succulents. Et comment ne pas parler du onsen, public et privé ? Propre, relaxant, calme… La source chaude extérieure était une première pour moi, et c’était excellent. Un grand merci au personnel pour ce séjour magnifique PS: on a pu profiter de la première neige de 2025 😁
