Tugende Hostel

I enjoyed my stay in this hostel very much. Price was not cheap for hostel but they have welcome drink service and breakfast included.

Nothing. Just a little bit pricy for dorm room.

I like the upstairs verandah where you can sit peacefully and comfortably

Front rooms some noise from cafe but stoppped early

The outdoor setting was good The breakfast good Waiters & waitress courteous

The house keeping was very poor

We liked the location as it was within walking distance of Kigali Conventional Centre, which was very convenient.

Got tired of the breakfast as it was not very flexible, and by day 3 we wanted a variety. The cleanliness could be worked on, too many outsiders would use the cafe area and as residents, we felt like we were intruding in their space. My room was next to the public bathroom and for some strange reason, men did not see the need to close the door when using the facilities... walking to my room a couple of times and finding the door open and in use was very disconcerting. Time for an outside public bathroom...

Great location, and a great café with great health food. Also, free filteren water

The room is Basic, but if you don't need more than a bed and a shower, don't look further.

The bed in the room was really bad, everything else was ok!

The restaurant/cafe is definitely chill and trendy. Very good breakfast and coffees. Location is nice. The biking culture in and around Tugende is pretty cool.

The room (a private room) is pretty basic and in my opinion it’s not fully worth the money. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay.
