Good outdoor space looking into the river, other guests were friendly

The female dorm was filthy. The floors were littered and the place could do with a good scrub. Nothing like hostels I’ve used before. The property photos do not reflect the quality of Accommodation. Parking is very limited. A staff member placed a ‘fake parking note’ on my car, calling me ‘a dumb shit’ ‘driving while stupid’ etc. It was exceptionally offensive. As I was leaving, a staff member drew my attention to the ‘ticket’ As a solo international female mature traveller this is appalling practice. If there was an issue a polite conversation could have taken place. At €105 dollars for a night, I would never recommend it.

Furniture is outdated and some of it is rundown in the living room space. Our room smelled really strong like cleaning solution. We paid what seemed like a lot for a hostel and it doesn’t appear like any of the money is being put back into the business for fixing things up like the sliding door or the furniture.

Staff was friendly

Facilities were underperforming. Bath drain was clogged and stinky, not working at all. You just couldn't have showed. The room was musky and beds were too soft to sleep. Everything was self service but was hard to get fixed after hours. If you want to get decent sleep, go elsewhere. It was not like the youth hostel we ever had in the UK and Europe, really disappointed!
